Born Thadeus P. Zabrowski; in a small mining town of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, Thadeus began his career with the unknown as a young boy, collecting odd animals and insects. It wasn’t until one hot summer day that the Circus parade marched down his street, and set up their tents at the edge of town, that he realized what it was he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Since its first debut as a penny show for the local children, to now, Dr. Zanzibar’s Sideshow has grown to be one of the world’s finest collections of scientific oddities, medical mysteries, and performers of miraculous feats.

Dr.Thadeus P. Zanzibar’s Olde city sideshow now resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and although he is not seen very often due to his failing health; Dr. Zanzibar still oversees the show as well as an expedition of men paid to scour the earth for new acts, just as he once did.
